EggHolic is an egg-centric Indian restaurant founded in 2018 in Chicago by cousins Bhagyesh Patel, Lay Patel, Master Chef Vilas Patil and Rajveer Sondarva. The idea to start EggHolic stemmed from a longing for the traditional Indian foods found in their native India.
Having grown up in India, there was an array of flavors and food options, but their favorite was Egg Night, a tradition not found in the U.S. From there, Bhagyesh, Lay, Vilas and Rajveer realized they could bring new authentic Indian flavors, egg dishes, and street food to the United States, and teamed up with Soon after, EggHolic was created.
EggHolic specializes in Indian-style egg dishes, including curries, sandwiches, rice dishes, and of course traditional street food dishes, normally served from Indian street carts. These include kabobs dishes and samosas. In addition, a wide variety of vegetarian alternatives are available, like Paneer Dishes, rice, sandwiches, samosas, Lassis, and many more for an all-inclusive menu.
What started out as a love for Egg Night, has quickly expanded, and soon EggHolic will be opening more franchise locations throughout the United States and Canada.
